Presenter: Marissa Scott, MA, MT-BC, CLD Marissa Scott is a board-certified music therapist, certified labor doula and business owner in New Hampshire.
In 2010, I completed my Masters in Mental Health Counseling & Music Therapy at Lesley University, where I gained a comprehensive understanding of the intersection between mental health and music. After achieving board-certification, I chose to start a group music therapy practice as an effort to grow the field of music therapy in the state of New Hampshire.
With 14 years as a group practice owner with multiple locations, I have honed my skills in employment and team management, financial management, marketing, client relations, and administration. In 2023 I started consulting where I have the privilege of sharing my extensive knowledge and experience with others in the creative arts therapy industry. Through consulting, I aim to continue contributing to the field of music therapy in innovative and meaningful ways.
